In a unexpected partnership that defies usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the official release, "A strange encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
