'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming
Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the first major trophy of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier expressed that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he once was, and would certainly contemplate lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
