Juventus Name Ex- Italian National Team Boss Spalletti
Juventus have appointed ex- Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti as their manager for the rest of the term.
The experienced coach takes over from the Croatian manager, who was dismissed following the loss to Lazio on Sunday.
The former boss came on board in March to replace Thiago Motta but left after seven months after an eight-game winless streak.
Spalletti guided Napoli to the Serie A crown in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup with Mancini at the helm.
Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 exiting in the last 16 stage against Switzerland.
However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June post a qualifying defeat against Norway, as Italy faced the possibility of not making a third World Cup in a row.
Spalletti's managerial career includes Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Serie A and won the Russian Premier League twice with Zenit St Petersburg.
Massimo Brambilla took interim charge of Juventus during the 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday which left them seventh in Serie A - six points behind leaders Napoli after nine games.
They are 25th in the league phase of the Champions League, having lost once and drawn twice in their opening three matches.
