Larian Studios Reveal a Fresh Divinity, Calling it Their Biggest RPG to Date
The anticipation about this year's gaming ceremony was significant, especially after presenter Geoff Keighley posted a puzzling photo of a strange statue. The question has now been solved. Larian Studios is developing a completely new Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a daring trailer packed with striking imagery, from a burning man to scenes of revelry and the very descent into chaos.
Moving Beyond Original Sin
Anyone anticipating Divinity Original Sin 3, that is not happening. Larian stated ahead of time that a direct sequel to its beloved RPGs is not being worked on now.
That said, the developer described this new Divinity as a next chapter of the core franchise. This choice of words hints that the team might be building a more action-oriented experience instead of another turn-based title. Currently, this is speculation, as only a teaser video is available.
What Makes Divinity Special
